Amazing to see the @volentiacademy1 @lns_6th_form boys out on the pitch training alongside the @oscar_foundation coaches and young leaders. Energy, respect, learning from each other and the joy of the game.

It’s great having this group of UK Turing Scheme students from @lns_6th_form @volentiacademy1 visiting the @oscar_foundation in India. 🇮🇳🇬🇧 The curiosity, questions and openness to learn has been amazing to see. It’s a real reminder of why programmes like the UK Government-funded Turing Scheme matter, young people sharing experiences, building friendships, experiencing a new culture (and spicy food 🌶️) and growing into global citizens together. 🌍 The visit kicked off with a tour of Sassoon Dock, the Cuffe Parade community and the Dhobi Ghat laundry. 👌#turing #turingscheme

Child Sponsorship enables the OSCAR Foundation to make a significant impact in low income communities. Sponsoring a child ensures underprivileged boys and girls access the education they deserve. An educated child avoids early marriage, youth pregnancy and addiction and is mobilised to make changes in their communities. OSCAR uses football to engage youth and enrol them in education, football and life skills programmes. Child Sponsorship is the key to development and progress for future generations.
