OSCAR Summit Seekers Fundraising Trek 18th – 24th October 2026 with Indiahikes
The momentum from OSCAR’s 2025 Himalayan trek continues and we’re back with a new and exciting adventure and the opportunity to visit the OSCAR community in Mumbai!
In October 2026, Ashok, Lucinda and an intrepid group of OSCAR supporters will hike in the incredible Himalayas, not just for a brilliant adventure, but to change lives and we want you to join us!
The Surya Top Trek supports the life-changing work of the OSCAR Foundation and we will be trekking with the expert mountain team at Indiahikes. This is grassroots impact supporting a grassroots organisation.
Why This Trek Matters
Across India, OSCAR works with young people from underserved communities, using sport, education and a life skills programme to open doors that should be open to all young people.

The Trek: Surya Top, Himalayas
📍 Basecamp: Raithal, Uttarakhand🚐 Travel Hub: Dehradun⛰ Highest Altitude: ~12,900 ft🥾 Difficulty: Moderate🗓 Total Duration: 7 Days (including travel)
NOTE: Add a couple of days for a hero’s welcome in Mumbai from the OSCAR team, visit the community, the Sassoon Dock fish market, the awe-inspiring Dhobi Ghat laundry and kick a ball with girls and boys on the pitch.
The Surya Top trail is raw, open and powerful, alpine meadows, deep forests, high ridges, few other hikers and endless Himalayan views. Click link for short film.
